The hateful magazine with its airline terror cover story
An article in the winter 2014 issue of al-Qaeda’s magazine, Inspire,
terrorists to attack American Airlines, United, and Delta in order for
the group to kill the most people, “crush the enemy’s economy,” and
bring publicity to the terror organization.
It
includes 37 pages of instructions on how to build a bomb – with readily
available materials – that can be easily hidden on a plane, as well as
how to breach airport security, according to Hstoday.us, a blog on the Homeland Security website.
British
Airways, easyJet, and Air France (as well as Bill Gates and Federal
Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke) are also named as targets.
The
article, called, “Destination airport, and Guess What’s on the
Menu?” includes an interview with an extremist called the “AQ-Chef,”
presumably Ibrahim Hassan Tali Al Asiri, according to Hstoday.us, a
premier al-Qaeda bomb maker with a $5 million bounty on his head.
AQ-Chef encourages “lone wolf” jihadists to help with the dirty deeds
because, “It is hard to uncover, because none knows him but Allah. He
has no relationship with any group or any individuals.”
This latest issue of the four-year-old magazine was released on Christmas, which was also the fifth anniversary of
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s failed attempt to explode Northwest
Airlines Flight 253 headed from Amsterdam to Detroit. The AQ-Chef
praised Abdulmutallab in the magazine article.
