NIGERIA EXORBITANT FLIGHT FARE AND THE DEATH OF DOMESTIC FLYING:

Efforts to increase the demand of Air Travel, without addressing the need to curb high flight tariff will continue to prove abortive and those passengers who do not money to surmount these challenges are often scared away by the Airlines.
It comes as surprise to me that a  non stop flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town (South African Airways flight 2003, Boeing 737-800 Passenger jet) which takes about 2h 10m and could cost as low as £97 ( 27,865₦) on South African Airline could be more cheap than a non stop flight from Lagos to Abuja. with Nigeria's  airlines big busters charging as much as 37254 for  a very much lesser time.
with all these and other poor services which continues to keep one imagining if really we are set to do business in a way which would encourage more domestic travelers, especially in the phase of the our countries poor road and water transportation.
If laws continues to exist that makes domestic flying difficult and in-affordable to the general public, then, it certainly going to be difficult for this industry to survive in the wake of a good road transportation, a better water ways and fast trains in Nigeria.
